During the summer I will try to give the homepage a little bit of love and try to update and fix things some more.
Instead of using the horrible system that was thrown together by me and some old staff members, I think it would be better to switch to a legitimate web software like WordPress or something. The whole interface of the site isn't very user-friendly, and it can be very confusing and the functionality is extremely limited. Even for staff, it is impossible to navigate through the administrative pages. I'm probably the only one who knows how to navigate it, and I frequently get lost and confused.
If I do manage to switch the system up the entire main site will be getting a redesign with the layout, colors, and graphics. I'm taking a graphic design class at school (when it starts this August), so I might be able to put some stuff together.
I really like the website Zelda Informer, and I think their layout would suit The Kirby Club really well. I don't want to copy, but some of the parts look really nice. I particularly like the slideshow of different topics. For example, on TKC, we could have Wii U/3DS/General Nintendo news, Kirby news, TKC stuff, and other sections.
Any other suggestions for the moment? I can work on adjusting small things, although I'm not really that good of a programmer or designer. I'm a really bad journalist, so I won't be able to write up articles all the time. In order to have a really nice website and have it updated frequently, we're going to need a lot more staff.
