Hidden files lurking.

So... Help? I just used Adobe Photoshop CS3 which my sister has and well. When I saved a file. It wasn't there. And I also found out there was loads of other rubbish which I tried to open the file through Photoshop. Is there anyway to find these files? (And yes. I have view hidden files on.) And anyway to find my Photoshop file

i would love to help, but before i can make any real suggestions, i need more info.
could you be more specific? what do you mean 'rubbish'?
your OS may also hold some significance.

If you use windows 7, you can try trying the file name in the search bar when you open the start menu.
