Good God. Meta Knight is not a blue kirby as far as anyone's aware. He's got a similar shape, though he does have fully formed hands. Don't state untruths as facts.

Also Star Warriors are still only something from the anime. Not game related at all, not even a little bit and don't try throwing them into game canon for the love of everything.

Because I've played all the games and they're not mentioned once. Because the creator has said that star warriors are only for the anime and he's disappointed whenever fans try to put them in the game universe.

Every time Kirby fights Meta Knight in the games, we see that he's the same species as Kirby, but dark blue. In the anime it's revealed that Meta Knight was the last Star Warrior, and he went to Dreamland so he could await the next generation of Star Warriors. Kirby was supposed to be part of that, but he was awoken 200 years early because of King Dedede's monsters that he kept ordering from Nightmare Industries.

Being the last remaining Star Warrior, I believe Meta Knight was probably supposed to train the next generation and lead them into battle against the Nightmare. We saw him train Kirby on how to use the sword, so hat kind of helps that part of the theory. Obviously Kirby defeated the Nightmare though, so Meta Knight's purpose has changed. Kirby is stronger than when he first arrived in Dreamland, so Meta Knight is more of Kirby's rival now than anything.

Of course, this is all going by both the games, and the anime. I guess the games would be more canonical though.

Your theory correlates toward the anime, and not the games.
While the anime and games are both cannon, they are completely independent from each other, and are not related.

Kirby is a Kirby, and a Meta Knight is..unknown? Meta Knight and Kirby are similar in a few ways. I'll make some theories for you.

Game canon theory:

Originally, back in Kirby's Dream Land, (I haven't played this game yet. I'm getting this from Spring Breeze on Kirby Super Star Ultra, so I may be wrong if any of this stuff isn't on Kirby's Adventure.) Kirby started his life on Pop Star. He was having a nice day, until he discovered somebody was stealing all the food in Dream Ladn! Somebody else similar, named Meta Knight. He was unmasked back then. He had no idea about Kirby for a while, and was very hungry, due to having no food. Kirby found King Dedede's castle, and defeated King Dedede. On the other hand, with Meta Knight, he noticed a weird balloon (actually Kirby) above King Dedede's castle. All the food falls out, and Meta Knight wonders about it. King Dedede gets angry and Meta Knight checks him out. Meta Knight asks what's wrong, and somebody named Kirby took all of Dedede's food. He said he looked a lot like Meta Knight.

Kirby's Adventure, Meta Knight has heard rumors and sights about somebody named Kirby. He realized his face was similar to Kirby's, and that Kirby was getting well-known. Meta Knight went to Orange Ocean. He is now angry against Kirby, but thankful he got food for him. He forgets about Kirby for a while, and puts a mask on, so nobody will compare him to Kirby in the bad way. He meets Kirby, so he can battle him. Later, he helps Kirby out, as a thank-you for getting food back. In the later games, he forms more of a rival. Eventually, he doesn't know if he should be friend or foe, so he sticks to both. Meta Knight is still embarrassed, so he keeps his mask on. Later, in Revenge of Meta Knight, he decides foe and tempts to take over Dream Land. He fails, obviously. His mask falls off, and he uses his cape to fly away to somewhere else. He is very embarrassed now, and stays mostly enemies until Kirby's Return to Dream Land. He decides it's too hard to battle Kirby, and maybe he's too harsh. He decides to help Kirby this time, and that's that.

I don't see what everyone`s problem with Star Warriors is. Star Warriors offer an explanation of something the games don't really go into (as far as I know), the origin of Kirby and Meta Knight. Obviously, not all of the anime and the games can be canon at the same time, but Star Warriors make enough sense to work within the game`s universe.
I mean come on guys.

I don't have anything against the star warrior concept or the anime itself, but it's stated to be a completely separate canon from the games, so any theories connecting the two have already been jossed.
