Let me clear this all up in one sentence...


Meta Knight is not related to Kirby in ANY way.

Alright, There has never, EVER been anything stating that Meta Knight is Kirby's Brother/Father/whatever. If there was any way they were related, it would have been explained in a Kirby game or in a manual. Just because they look like each other doesn't mean they're related. Waddle Dees look almost identical to Kirby, Meta Knight, Lololo, Lalala... well, I think you get the point, just because they look the same, does not mean they're related.

Yeah, MetaKnight isn't related to Kirby, but I strongly believe that he is of Kirby's species.

I believe KF9K's theory. they aren't related. they are the same species. i have my own theory based on facts in the anime.
i believe that kirby was an accident created by nightmare. he wanted an extremely strong beast but he got... a kirby. this kirby switched sides and battled with the star warriors, therefor becoming one. Metaknight, being one of the only survivors, must have known about kirby. kirby was probably sent off for being too young. Being created by nightmare, he is almost essential to defeat him. He could be the savior of many lives. Metaknight is there as a... mentor of sorts to show kirby the right path. Other than that, he is completely individual. but, a question arises; the halberd. in those games, metaknight is portrayed as an enemy. this is most likely because metaknight, at one point, may have thought dedede isn't a proper ruler (which is true). Kirby mistook this as he wanting to conquer and thus destroy dreamland. Metaknight may have seen this misunderstanding as a chance to teach him.
the last part about the halberd and such makes less sense than my first theory, so if you find it unreasonable you can just ignore it as a 'this doesn't count'. But, if you believe it, than it's ok. I hope you enjoyed my theory about metaknight

See, I'm not going to write a long theory on this because i simply don't know enough facts to draw a theory. But I do also believe he and Kirby share the same species. But yeah, go ahead an dream.

That's an amazing theory. Although, if Kirby was an accident created by Nightmare, then.... How the heck did MetaKnight pop up if they are in the same species? I wish Masahiro Sakurai would say something.

i believe that he based kirby after star warriors, the only way to eliminate them all. but, he got kirby; the same species as all other star warriors.

Mabye He attempted to clone Meta-Knight Because he was so powerful.It messed up and....Kirby was made.
