Yeah, it was really short. I think I pretty much completed the gamer in about a month or so (Or maybe even shorter...), and the story was retarded. Kirby's cake getting stolen? HE COULDN'T JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE!?
mamthew42 wrote:It has Dedede as the first boss.
Yeah, the boss order was pretty messed up. Original bosses first, new bosses second. :/
mamthew42 wrote:It has the Metal ability. Heck, having the metal ability alone would make a game suck.
Yeah, the Metal ability was
extremely overpowered.
mamthew42 wrote:The maps were too straightforward, with quite a few "levels" that were only one room, which is stupid.
Yeah, most of the levels were kinda boring and linear.
mamthew42 wrote:The new enemies were awful; the majority of them were blobs with eyes smacked on them and we were expected to assume that was somehow not lazy.
Yeah, and it was just kinda recolors and such. :/
mamthew42 wrote:A lot of the copy scrolls were lazy as well (what the heck Beam/hi-jump).
Yeah, they had a scroll for the Fire ability, and it just let you change the direction of the fire. -_-
To sum it all up in one word, the game "sucks".
Anyway...
My favorite Kirby game would probably be Kirby's Dreamland 3. The co-op was quite amazing, the ability to choose helpers was great, and the graphics were insane, especially for the SNES.
My second would probably be Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. The length of each level was great, the graphics were simply amazing, and the feature to blend abilities was great. :D
My third is Kirby's Air Ride. I don't care if it was a spin-off. It was great. :D
My fourth is KSS. :D The co-op was GREAT. Music was good, and having a bunch of games in one was great. :D
