Kirby's Dream Collection Livestream (Finished)

Postby Kawaii Poyo » Thu Jul 19, 2012 12:40 pm

Alright guys! So I'm currently downloading the final part of the Japanese Kirby's Dream Collection ISO (the download I had last night stopped at about 20 minutes/40 MB left and when I tried to re-download it, the link wouldn't work, so I'm assuming Nintendo copyright people took it down before my download finished which sucks. I know they're onto it too cause when I have been Googling for the ISO said some results were removed due to some laws or something) and it should be finished downloading in about an hour. :D

So I've been thinking, would anyone be interested in watching a livestream of it today? If I livestream it, it should start around 4-4:30 PM EST (so in about an hour in a half to two hours after this post is made).

So yeah, if I get enough people who want to watch a livestream of it, I definitely will! :D

When/if I do decide to livestream, I'll make another post in this thread with the URL to my livestream when it's up!

UPDATE: Streaming now!

Update: http://www.twitch.tv/kawaiipoyo

I'm streaming now! If I'm not playing, it's cause I'm posting the link around, but don't worry, I'll play soon! :D

Update 2: Everyone left the stream so I'm done streaming.

To anyone who was there, I'm just as sad as you are that the games would just go back to the Wii menu when I tried to load them, but at least I got to showcase the challenge stages and game galley, right? :D

Gonna try to find another ISO that has the games working and may livestream again another day!

Isn't downloading something that's not mean't to be available stealing?
Just thought I would let you no that my signature has no good features and that if you are reading this you should stop. If you are still reading I urge you to stop as you are wasting you time and effort on something that is utterly point less and you could be doing something you enjoy right now rather then read my signature on a forum and don't lie we all know no one wants to do that and absolutely everybody has something better to do. If you are still not sure what to do maybe read the next persons post or make your own response. If you read all of this you are a very strange person. Because it was a waste of time it had no point, see ya.

Technically yeah, but everyone downloads ROMs, ISOs, etc in this era. XD

Don't worry, I actually WILL be buying Kirby's Dream Collection when it comes out in America... Which is kinda dumb since my Wii disc reader doesn't even work anymore, but I'll do it anyway. XD

Ya I do Emus and Roms, but I only download games that aren't actually being sold.

Well Kirby's Dream Collection isn't being sold in America until September and I don't feel like importing for a game I can't even play. At least I'll be buying it when it comes to America despite not being able to play it. Well, I can extract the ISO off the disc and USB burn it and play it that way, but still. I really wanted to play it now. XD

I only pirate games when there is no possible way for me to buy it legally or if it's just really old. For example, Earthbound for SNES, Mother 3 for GBA.
I downloaded Klonoa 2 for PS2 since I don't have a PS2, and since the game is discontinued. There aren't any ports or other platforms to play the game on.

Makes sense and I respect that. As for me though, I'd find it pointless to buy a bunch of Wii games that I can't even play via disc. Tbh, I only play the Kirby, Pokemon and Smash Bros. series, so I don't play many games at all to begin with. XD

My Wii broke as well, and I own both Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Zelda: Skyward Sword, and I haven't touched them yet.
The wait is killing me, but I've decided to wait for Wii U to play my Wii games again. I used to have mods on my Wii but I gave up on it.

That's gonna be... Awhile... I dunno when the Wii U comes out. ^^;

Tbh, I'm not gonna buy a Wii U until there's a confirmed date for Smash 4 or a Kirby game. Those are the two reasons I even want a Wii U. XD

Well, it comes out this holiday season, so I'm predicting a mid-November release date. The release date and price will be announced in the fall. It'll be a long time for SSB4 and a new Kirby game since SSB4 is in very early development and Kirby games usually come around the death of a system.

You're going to have to wait a long time, then. :tounge:
